Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs)
"Where Relationships and Faith are Deepened"
Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) seek to facilitate the spiritual growth of their members intocommitted disciples of Jesus Christ. ABFs meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and 10:30 am. This provides a person the opportunity to attend both an ABF and one of the two morning worship services. In addition, each ABF offers social events and ministry opportunities throughout the year. Our Adult Bible Fellowships become "extended family" where relationships and faith are deepened.
Our Purpose
To create an environment where people are connected to one another for the purpose of knowing God, developing a heart for the lost, serving others and growing in true community.
Our Biblical Goals
1. Live in Biblical Community (John 13:34-35)
2. Promote Fellowship and Unity (Acts 2:42-47)
3. Build up the Body (Ephesians 4:11-16)
4. Serve Others (Romans 12:6-8)
5. Share the Gospel Message (Matt. 28:18-20)
How to Choose an Adult Bible Fellowship
There are no set rules for which ABF you should join. Most people select an ABF based on their life situation or preferred group dynamic. Choosing an ABF is a very important decision.
Please feel free to visit all of our ABFs before making your decision.
Our Adult Bible Fellowships:
Satellites - ages approx. 18 to 30
We are a group of singles and young married couples. Biblical teaching, prayer, and discussion help us live our lives as Christ desires. As we share our lives, we seek to grow a small community of love and support for one another. Outside of Sunday mornings, this group is active in social and service opportunities. (You can also find many of us worshipping or serving at Rooftop Revolution on Sunday evenings at 7:15 pm).
Meeting Time: Sunday Morning 10:30 am, Room 202
Homebuilders - ages approx. 25 to 45
Our ABF is designed for married couples and singles, many with younger children. Our group builds relationships through Bible study, prayer support, Growth Groups, 4x4 dinners, social activities and class ministry opportunities. Our Sunday morning meeting is primarily informal lecture with lively discussion.
Meeting Time: Sunday Morning 10:30 am, Room 204
Discoverers - ages approx. 30 to 50+
We are a group of adults (mostly couples) who seek to worship, learn and spiritually grow together. Our focus is on prayer, Bible study and developing more intimate relationships with one another to encourage a deeper knowledge of God and to help each other in becoming more like Him. We seek to provide a more intimate "family" setting for those who might feel lost in a large church setting. We are also working to grow outside of our Sunday meeting time through outings, service opportunities and small group interaction.
Meeting Time: Sunday Morning 9:00 am, Room 206
Ambassadors - ages approx. 35 to 50+
We are a group of singles and couples of all ages. Because of this mix, God often uses our diverse interests as we travel through different stages of life. Through Bible study, prayer and various forms of fellowship, we are learning to apply God's Word to real life situations. While most of us prefer interactive teaching styles, we welcome those who are more comfortable just listening. Whichever is your preference, we hope you'll decide to come and grow with us.
Meeting Time: Sunday Morning 10:30 am, Room 201
We are an active group of 50+ year olds who are friendly, outgoing and dedicated to the Lord and the support of one another. Our members have formed a number of home Bible studies. We study individual books of the Bible and pertinent topics such as Creationism vs. Evolution and similar topics of interest. We have social events and fun day trips. Our group has a strong interest in local and international outreach.
