Karraker, Jerusha

Campus Crusade
, Ohio, USA

Ministry Description: Jerusha was raised in a family of four girls outside of Philadelphia.  She graduated from Penn State in May of 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in History.  Having seen God work tremendously in her own life during her college years, she spent two years as a ministry intern for Campus Crusade for Christ, first at Penn State and then for a year in Freiburg, Germany.  In January of 2004 Jerusha joined staff full-time and will be working at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.

One of Jerusha's favorite things about ministry is investing in young women and sharing with them that their significance comes from Christ, and the gospel brings fresh life.

Because of the liberal nature of Kent State and the growing tide of post-modern thinking on the college campus, ministry has taken an interesting turn at this university.  Students are encouraged and trained to share the gospel in their areas of influence: friends, families, classmates, and neighbors.  Not a typical college ministry, The Dive, as Campus Crusade for Christ is known at Kent, seeks to be relevant and welcoming to every student, so that every student understands the new life Christ brings.
