Our Purpose
To promote your child's growth, learning and development in a warm, loving and supportive Christian environment.

Our Goals
We have set forth the following goals in teaching your child.  We are convinced and it is our desire to see teachers, children and parents working together in order to accomplish these goals.

  • Children will learn to interact with their peers in a positive way through sharing, cooperating and developing respect for themselves and for others.
  • Foundations for future learning are built through units such as letters, numbers, colors, weather, nature and time.
  • Biblical principles will be taught in a practical way so that children can learn to behave in a manner which is pleasing to God.
  • Children will gain self-esteem as teachers seek to build-up and encourage each  individual child.


Faculty/Staff
Our teaching staff consists of a Director, Teachers and Teacher Aides.  Parent volunteers are encouraged to help in the classroom and with field trips.

Facilities
Good Beginnings Preschool is located inside the First Baptist Church of Doylestown.  The classrooms are of moderate size, divided into areas to create a variety of learning experiences.  A church gym is located on the grounds and is available for recess, activities and special events.

Special Events


Free Play - a time for imaginative play and interacting with others.
Circle Time - a time for sharing ideas, singing and praying together.
Bible Time - a time learning about God's Word and how to apply it.
Snack
Recess - a time for outdoor play on the playground.
Center Time - small group work time.
Music & P.E.
Story Book Time


Field trips are planned through the year to complement either a special topic or unit that the children are studying.
Special visitors and family members will be invited periodically to come to the school.
