Getting ready for your Portrait

 

Follow these tips to assure great portraits:

 

  • Please bring your entire family even if some are not members of this church. 
  • The photographer will take some poses of church members for the directory only and then include the other members for the complimentary portrait and other portraits that you may wish to purchase. 
  • For groups, select fabrics, shades and styles for each individual so they will blend well together.  Broad stripes and bold patterns emphasize clothing and not you. 
  • White clothing will add weight; darker shades will tend to slim you down. 
  • Adults should wear long sleeves.  Children may wear any sleeve length. 
  • If you wear make-up, keep it natural.  Don’t over-compensate. 
  • Schedule sessions with young for as early as possible.  Avoid wrinkles and spills by bringing your children’s outfits with you. 
  • Please notify the photographer I you’ve brought props or have special portrait needs. 
  • Arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to make last minute preparations.
