Promoting growth in a caring Christian environment
Our Purpose
To promote your child's growth, learning and development in a warm,
loving and supportive Christian environment.
Our Goals
We have set forth the following goals in teaching your child. We are
convinced and it is our desire to see teachers, children and parents
working together in order to accomplish these goals.
* Children will learn to interact with their peers in a positive way
through sharing, cooperating and developing respect for themselves
and for others.
* Foundations for future learning are built through units such as
letters, numbers, colors, weather, nature and time.
* Biblical principles will be taught in a practical way so that
children can learn to behave in a manner which is pleasing to God.
* Children will gain self-esteem as teachers seek to build-up and
encourage each individual child.
Accreditation/Licensing
Good Beginnings is registered as a non-public, non-licensed school
by the PA Dept of Education. We are exempt from licensing
because we are "under the authority of a bona fide religious
institution." Licensing is primarily for daycare centers and
since Good Beginnings is strictly a half-day preschool program,
licensing would not be required.
We are committed to a high quality facility and curriculum and that
is why we voluntarily comply and are accredited by the Assocation of
Christian Schools International (ACSI). To be accepted into
this program, our school undergoew an extensive, comprehensive and
challenging process of self-study, review and improvement.
Faculty/Staff
Our teachers are experienced and trained in working with young
children. We maintain a low teacher-student ratio and each
preschool classroom has both a teacher and an aide. Parent
Volunteers are encouraged to participate in the classroom and on
field trips.
Facilities
Good Beginnings Preschool & Kindergarten is located inside First
Baptist Church of Doylestown. The classrooms are organized to
promote learning through a variety activity centers. The school has
a gym located on the grounds which is available for recess,
activities, and special events.

We are located at 311 West State Street next to Lenape Middle School
and across from Central Bucks West High School Football Field
Accredited by Association of Christian Schools International.
This school is a Christian outreach of the First Baptist Church of
Doylestown.
